C/S moms: still in pain?

Ella was born 7 weeks ago via my third (unplanned for the record) C/S. I'm still in pain but it's not at the site of the incision. It's inside but not deep and just on one side. It's really sharp, pinching pain when I walk. My DD's doc said that it can take quite a long time for the pain to go away. (In general, he didn't check me though.)(I haven't seen the doc that did the C/S for a return visit since I left the hospital. No insurance! And no signs of infection or anything serious.)

How is everyone else doing?

Ouch, sorry that you are going through this. I'm not in any more pain. You should try posting on the Mamas of all children born via c-section thread.

No pain here at nine weeks post C. If I work out, though, I sometimes feel a little sore there -- inside, I think where they actually cut the uterus, not on the exterior scar. Nothing sharp, though.

I am at 5 weeks PP and I don't feel pain at all anymore, actually I have started working out already, I lift heavy things again ( My refrigerator went out last night and DH back is thrown out at the moment so I had to move it, and carry 40 pounds of ice) so I would say I am doing really great. I am sorry yours still hurts you, sending healing vibes your way! :

Thanks! Your vibes must have worked! Today, I barely feel it, and I've done a lot of walking and carried my almost three year old up the stairs because he fell asleep downstairs. I hope it stays this way!

I had lots on my lower right side. When I asked my OB about it, he explained that was normal (also because I was overdoing it alot too) because the stitches on the interior muscles ended about there and on the left too. Most women he said after a c/s always seemed to have issue with the right side knots and not too much with the left.

Advil/tylenol combos became my best friends after a nice day of lifting my 35lbs kiddo, plus walking around a lot, carrying the little one and usually trying to move something heavy.
