Anyone on here live close to Lexington TN?
Hello! I live in Lexington. I'd love to meet other AP mamas. Not exactly common around here, but I've seen a moby and a couple pouches in Jackson. There is one girl, I think he name is Gina, she is trying to get a good AP mama group going on, I think centered in the ackson area. I can find a link if you like, I believe she is on myspace or perhaps cafemom?

Oh yay, we should get together sometime. Jess had told me you had gotten married and had a baby. I can't believe she is 16 months old! It seems like yesterday Jess was telling me!

Wow! It's great to see at least 2 women in Lexington who don't fit the norm for the town! I usually get the "you aren't from here" looks when we go into town.
My dad and all of his family along with much of my mom's family live in Lexington (actually mostly Darden).
We visit at least once a year. Are you all natives or did you move into the area?

I'm in Dyersburg. Not too far, considering the AP community around here. There was a meetup group for AP in Jackson. Could that be the one you were thinking of? Hopefully there's a new one. I always get excited knowing there's a chance of like-minded mamas close by.

Very neat! I'd venture to say then that our families would know one and other. Dare I ask how old you all are? I'm guessing you probably would know one or more of my cousins. Because, well, quite frankly, there's quite a few of us!

Well, Im 22. Did any of your family go to Pin Oak?
My husband occasionally does work (a computer guy) in Dyersburg.

I am 27, and my family has been here in Lex for several generations. Like literally 200 years or so. I bet I know your family.

Well...I don't know that I have any cousins as young as 22 but some did go to Pin Oak, though they're in their mid 30's!

My family are the Wallace's.

Blackapple- ditto. My family has been in the area for several generations. I, however, have never lived there. My mom and dad moved to Knoxville when I was born and that's where I lived my adolescence. My parents divorced when I was 5 and my dad has been back in Lexington (Chesterfield, really) ever since. As I said, we do return for a week every summer and spend lots of time on the TN River!

I know lots of Wallaces. I also went to school with a Wallace family with lots of daughters. And then I also know a Wallace family, the parents both teach music and have 2 children. I think their son died tragically several years ago during a hunting accident.

Any of that familiar?

PS- maybe we should pm and get meetup started?

My husband is also a computer guy. That's what brought us here. He works for a bank in town. We moved here from Louisville... while we're closer to home (the bootheel area), I sure miss everything Louisville had to offer.
