Hip carry in Beco 4th Gen?

Does anyone know how to do it? I can't find my booklet and the website has nothing on the 4th Gen. I've only used it a few times so I'm still in the learning phase with it.

Thanks for any help

You can basically just follow the hip carry instructions for the Ergo found at the Ergo site:

http://www.ergobabycarrier.com/support/instructions

That said, I don't feel that a SSC like the Beco or Ergo does a fantastic job at a hip carry, because the shoulder straps don't stay on your shoulder very well in the bandolier position. So if you get frustrated with it, it's not you.

The DVD for the Beco Butterfly just shows that you roll up the Beco for storage, but snap it onto your waist like a fanny bag or hip sack and then it's used as a supported hip carry and the roll is just like a little seat for the kid to sit on.
