Moby vs Woven wrap for a small mama

I borrowed a friend's Moby and have been using it for the past few days. I like it, but I am a very small person (5' 110 lbs) and it just seems like soooo much fabric. Plus I feel a significant amount of pressure on my waist.

I'm wondering if I would have the same issues with one of those fancy woven wraps. Any other small mamas out there who can give their two cents?

the moby only comes in one size, so it's probably more fabric than you need. with a woven wrap, you could order one that is not quite as long.

for the pressure at the waist...tie it evenly throughout and don't tie it super tight around your waist. most of the time, the pressure or uncomfortable tightness at the waist is because it's tied too tightly at the waist.
