If you had gift money for newborn cloth diapers--what to get?

I have some gift money for the baby that I want to spend on newborn diapers (or smalls). I have a good size work-horse basic stash, but I want a few cute, just-for-fun diapers as well.

If you had money to spend, what would be on your wish list? I haven't shopped for little diapers in nearly 3 years!

new or gently used fussybutt, elbee or clothmopitans. That is what I would supplement my stash with if I were buying.

It has been awhile since I shopped for newborn diapers as well, but I have always loved nanipoos in the newborn size..

are you going to be using a lot of prefolds and/or fitteds? If so I'd splurge on some yummy wool

If I had to do it all over again, I would only buy swaddlebees NB organic cotton velour fitteds!
I loved them so much!!!

But I guess it's only worth it if you'll be having a smallish baby

I used lots of prefolds and Kissaluv 0s for newborns, with simple covers like Bummis Whisper Wraps or Thirsties. I do love wool covers, and if I had another newborn, I'd likely use a lot of wool, too.

Similar to DizzyMiss, I'd go for organic velour fitteds with hidden snaps. You can find real nice fluff at Hyena Cart.

I have heard a lot of great reviews for NB Mutts (muttaqin baby, that is). I haven't tried them but have heard they are the favorite NB diaper. GEN-Y covers are cute, too.

Kissaluvs or Mother-Ease...gah, I can't wait to diaper a teeny tiny newborn again! I'm so jealous!

I'd get 12 Kissaluv 0s, a bunch of XS Thirsties covers, 12 infant prefolds, and some XS pockets or AIOs (I really like SposoEasys cotton AIO.) Also GAD smalls fit many newborns and are so cute!

I get a dozen or so XS Mother-ease sandy's and XS airflows. I love those on newborns.

and a dozen XS AIO's. Not sure what brand, maybe Bum Genius? I'd have to read reviews on which ones work well for NB's.

have fun shopping!

For my nb/small splurges, I bought a bunch of BubuBebe's off of HC and some Patchwork Pixies (very trim fitteds) off of HC and had the mama make matching t's and raglans.

oh, oh, oh

I just remembered about the new Happy Heiny's OS MINI pockets.

These seem like they'd be well worth the investment, then you could later on use regular OS pockets, or just go to mediums.
