So initially I thought I had thrush, shooting pain in the breasts, uncomfortable during feeding and after, white spot on one of my nipples, pink/reddish nipples (although no cracking), a bit of itchiness. So I treated DD and I with GV. I did 1 treatment a day for 5 days, following the advice on Dr. Jacks website. I was also washing bras/shirts etc with vinegar, cutting back on sugar and rubbing nystatin cream on my nipples in between feedings. Well the pain seemed to be a bit better and now 2 weeks later I am having problems again. I now just seem to feel irritated in my right breast (thats also where the white spot shows up) and have shooting pain deep in the breast. So could this still be yeast ?? Or something else ?? And if something else, then what ? The pain seems to last while feeding and after (although its a bit better after, but not soo much) I thought that maybe its a milk blister, went to kellymom website and checked that out .. but Im not sure ... The white spot on the breast is there after I feed for awhile but I notice if I touch it a bit it starts to go away .. I am SOOO uncomfortable .. ANY ADVICE or thoughts on what I can do/try now ? Should I try the GV again ? Or try something for a milk blister, if so what ?
