I don't post a lot, but thought I'd share anyway.
Caleb was born at 7:57 pm Friday, March 13th at home. It was by far my easiest labor- other than the frustrating stop and start labor Wed night and Thrs.
I called the midwife at 5:30ish, but told her not to rush, and I knew it was rush hour and would call if anything starting going too fast. I was sort of afraid that maybe it was nothing like on Thrs, but a bit after I called the contrax got much closer together and that was encouraging.
She got to our house around 7, and after we sent DS to go play at a friend's house she broke my water since I was 7+cm with a bulging bag. Two contractions later I started pushing, and he was born 8 minutes after that. It was amazing! It's the first time I didn't tear and wow- it's so much better. Not that I can take all the credit, his head is an inch smaller than DS#1s was and he is only 6#7oz, over a lb smaller than DS was! He was born at exactly 39 weeks and is doing great.
