Can you make fitteds from wool?

So wool is very absorbent, probably the best (from what I've heard) for covers in regards to leakage. What about for fitted diapers? Can I make dipes from wool too?

And has anyone made inserts/doublers from old wool sweaters/things?

I am very new- haven't actually made a dipe yet- but was wondering if this is possible!

I would like to know this too. I am new to sewing diapers and covers. And I went out to the thrift store and bought 10 wool sweaters, now I am thinking I bought too much, so it would be good if I can also make some doublers from it.
