I generally let people change their name if they have another child and need to change their numbers.

A long time ago, I *think* I just sent them the $2.50 (is it still $2.50?) through paypal with a note for what it was for.

Username Changes
If you later wish to change your username you may do so for a fee of $2.50 and which can be paid through Paypal to mdcadvertising@mothering.com In the Notes section of the Paypal payment window please include your current username and your requested new username. Your posts, post count, and iTrader reviews do not change. The only thing that changes is your display name.

Voila!

There used to be a username change page. I will see if I can find it. But for now:

So if I mistyped my username when I just registered, there is nothing to do? Or do I send money and I can get it spelled right? I am normally ~noodlefrog~, but I missed the "e" and didn't figure it out until I couldn't log in LOL!

If someone goes to reply to a pm from me after I've made the name change will it get to me? I assume into of it saying you are replying to OMNM it'll have my new username in all the right spots?

It will change the name in the pms you sent. So they might wonder who pmed them.
