This gets me thinking . . . many women choose to get pregnant, just as many women choose to breastfeed. It would be lovely if the courts would see this parallel and acknowledge that forcing a woman out of either, (directly, or through family-unfriendly policies, indirectly), is discrimination. I'm no legal expert, just a mama with a wandering brain . . .

I'm sad that I can't get my hands on that text I will have to go hunting, it has to be accessible somewhere!

you should watch the OSC vid, when one of the female judges addresses "pregnancy is a choice too should we have women end pregnancy for employment?" the poor litigator got nervous.

I really wish that a strong case would come by that required proper wording for pumping mamas.

I am concerned that this particular totes case is weak at best and my do more damage then good.

I truly wish that we didn't need legislation. I wish people understood that work ISN'T the most important thing in the world and taking 20 freaking mins ever 3 or so hours isn't going to damage anything!! ugh.

I am eternally grateful that I work in a grassroots business and can pump whenever I feel like it, in a cushy chair with outlets all over the place and stash my milk in the fridge without so much as 2 words from anyone!! One day maybe all mamas will be afforded the luxury.
