starbunz super undies sizing?

Looking at picking up some of these for nighttimes, and I'm trying to get an idea of sizing.

If you've used these, is a medium or a large more of a 2T/3T underwear size?

Weight-wise I'm thinking I'd get a large (& can always stuff them) and everywhere I've seen, it seems to get said these run small and are stretchy so I think I'd be fine. But dd is skinny and lacking a bottom, so I wouldn't want something that'd just fall off of her.

With the rise of Medium they are more like a 2T underwear. My DD is 2yo, 24lbs & 32.5" tall and her little bum pops out the back of the medium. She wears them around the house since we haven't really gotten into PLing yet. They are really trim and hold one pee without leaking even unstuffed.

My DD1 is 2.5 years old, 29 lbs and maybe 35-36" tall (not entirely sure, but in that area) and the large is a big big for her. She can wear them with no leaks, but the pair of mediums we have fit a lot trimmer, a lot more like panties which she likes better. If you see a used pair on a FSOT anywhere, you might want to try out the sizes first.

DD is 26 lbs. and about 35 inches tall and the mediums work for her!
