Writing Goals- March 15-22

I thought I might start a weekly thread for writing goals!


Anyone game?

ok well I'll start;

1- work on my e-book
2- research and put together a handful of new queries
3- start posting on my new herb blog! (my old one got logged down with spam..blah!)
4- figure out the whole adsense thing (finally) for above new blog
5- web content for 3 sites

1. finish completely my short story collection
2. blog 6 days a week
3. look into personal essays and places looking for them

I like to keep my goals light and doable at this stage. I seem to be more productive that way.

Well, I'm just in the mode of thinking of some strategies to employ over summer break while I'm home with the kids. Right now, I'm too busy to write very much or often.

1. Research keyword optimization strategies

2. Email a content company about writing a few articles a week for them

3. Keep up with personal blog to form the good habit for starting up some niche blogs over the summer

4. Revive WAHM blog that I've neglected since I've been just WOHMing lately

Down my list a little ways I have the goal of starting with S101 (for reals this time, ) and figuring out the cpanel on hostgator to host a few wordpress blogs...but that's down the road..

I need some goals to keep me from just staring at the screen forever instead of writing.

1. 1000 words a day. Period.

I'm noveling, so, thats all I need right now!

1. Post everyday at Examiner.
2. Write 2 articles for S101.

That is about all I can handle right now. I'm new at Examiner and still getting the hang of it.

Morning sickness is kicking my butt, so I'm not going to beat myself up if I don't get it done... but I'd really like to keep moving ahead with edits!

1. Write everyday -- I've been sick and unmotivated
2. Send in article to magazine
3. Get back on track with my blog -- 3 posts by the end of the week!

2. Work on my new book! One chapter per day..Halfway through Chapter 4!

4. Revise my novel to make it a bit better before I do the free nano proof thingy..I did 8 chapters today..had to take out some sex..sad

wow- weekly goals, OK. I'm totally in, and I know it's already Wednesday night, so I'll do my last half of the week goals.

1- hit 100 articles at Suite101 (I'm like 3 away)
2- use those same keywords to write a corresponding google knol, ehow, blog post and bukisa article
3- add content to each of my blogs
4- figure out that hostgator Cpanel- maybe there's a video, I've set up wordpress on other hosts before- why is it so hard, i was glad you wrote that because I've been staring at it like an idiot for like 2 weeks now. Cant make any money that way
5- transfer 2 more of the 30queries pages over to the new wordpress version for re-release


That's almost more than I can handle considering that I have to go work at the restaurant Sat & Sun.

Kind of late in the week but I'm in anyway.

1. Write homily for my church before Sunday.
2. Create personal website/blog.
3. Start posting daily on said blog.
4. Talk to my writing coach.
and last but not least..
5. Write every day!
