Not vaxxing and traveling to Mexico

I recently posted in another part of the board about the possibility of my DH and I taking a trip with our LO when she is about 5 months old. We plan on delaying and only doing selective vax, and will be breastfeeding, but are wondering about the safety of traveling to Cancun with a unvaccinated baby. Since she is still in utero, we don't really have a pediatrician we can ask about this, although I will double check with her ped after she is here. We just wanted to buy tickets and book relatively soon. I was wondering if anyone has any information or can point me in the right direction?

I believe Mexico has a higher vax rate than US. If you're breastfeeding, at 5 mos. old I don't think there is much to worry about. Just the usual precautions - clean water, good food (for you), etc.
