i thought about this. from my understanding, uc is completely legal in CA. offering my services as a doula (labor support), not a health care professional (providing medical care), would theoretically pose no legal threats to me. at least, that is the conclusion i've come to thus far!
if things change, so will my website. i appreciate you pointing this out though, thanks mama!
