I think I need to do fewer rows on the legbands next time, but otherwise, it turned out pretty good!

You think the toothpicks are necessary? How about magic looping with a size zero or one?

'Course they're not necessary - I just thought it was funny
Back when a few of us were messing with mini-patterns, someone said they'd love to see a tutorial for knitting keychain soakers on toothpicks. So I tried it. It kept me giggling the whole time I was knitting :LOL
