My oldest wants to learn German. I'm wondering if there is any curriculum anyone really recommends that isn't too expensive? I looked up Rosetta Stone and about choked. Thanks!

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

I am looking for a German one, too, and could never afford Rosetta Stone! Try maybe Mango languages online. We have a german workbook from Rainbow Resources and some of my old German college textbooks from my Conversational German class and we just practice counting in German when we are bored in the car and such.
