Sometimes we need a song to put us in a good mood and feel better. Whats your favorite? I need some more uplifting tunes~

I tend to like Natasha bedingfield 'unwritten'
and Corrine Bailey Rae- 'Put your record on'

"Promises" by Basia. I hate the video, though.

"Soak Up the Sun" by Sheryl Crow.

"I'm Yours" by Jason Mraz. It has been played to death on the radio, but I still smile and sing along every time I hear it.

"Island in the Sun" by Weezer.

"I'm Still Standing" by Elton John.

mom2snugbugs - Brad Paisley sings "And We Danced".

Speaking of country, "We Danced Anyway" by Deana Carter is a feel-good one too.

Verity - I agree with "I'm Yours". Love that upbeat song.

I'd also like to add "Turn the Radio Up" by Eric Carmen. I BLAST that song and almost cream it at the top of my lungs. :

Thank God I'm a Country Boy by John Denver

I can't listen to that song and not sing it with a smile on my face.

I found out from my sil that apparently my dh says when I'm being a grouch he'll surreptitiously put it on to improve my mood. I never noticed it before she told me that. :

I have created a great playlist from these suggestions in Rhapsody.

What else do you listen to to energize you and lift your mood?

There is another song with that title from the 1980s; it was by the Hooters. (Don't know but Brad Paisley's could be a cover, I never heard anything by him.)

pandora.com

type in your song, then let it create a station based on similar music. I love it, 'cause I discover a lot of new music that way.

Also, if you want an instrumental, try something by Ravi Shankar. Or maybe I'm just wierd.
