we live in davie. there are some awesome meet up groups for ap/nfl mamas in broward and miami-dade. i run one on the meetup.com site called all broward api, there's also on that site, ft lauderdale attachment parenting, breeders and kidlets (for the weirdest of the weird like me!). on yahoo groups is the baby bunch which is mostly ap-ish, i believe. and hollywood api. in miami-dade there is another one, but i can't off hand remember the name...

anyone want to meet up with everyone, like a big fam bbq type deal, i could put it on and ask all the members of those groups to join too???

Hi! I just signed up for your meetup group. Really looking forward to meeting other ap moms! By the way, do you know of any doulas who are familiar with ECing from birth?

I'm in pembroke pines too. I'm in Veezie's groups. There's a breastfeeding support group at the fitness center at memorial west (the one on Flamingo) that meets on the 2nd and 4th mondays of every month at 12:30. Anyone (breastfeeding or planning on breastfeeding) can come.

Yes, you're right Weston definitely isn't crunchy in the slightest bit. Actually just the opposite. My son goes to preschool there and I must say the elem. middle and high schools are the best around. The hospital most people deliver at who live in weston is Memorial West. I delivered at Coral Springs which worked out well. My Dr. is also in CS if you need the name let me know.

Just wanted to bump an old thread, as it is by far the most used on in SFla! I am here too, I will join all the meetup groups that veezie mentioned.  I'm expecting my LO soon and look forward to meeting you mamas!
