keeping inserts in pockets

What happens if you don't remove the inserts from pocket diapers? Do they come out by themselves in the washer anyway? I have only used my Fuzzi Bunz twice now and I am already totally over stuffing the pockets- I hate the way microfiber feels, and i have bad hangnails and dry skin that just snags and snags on the inserts.
Do they not get clean, or do they just take longer to dry? I am willing to leave the pockets in if it only means 20 extra minutes in the dryer.

The couple times I have forgotten an insert in the diaper, it didn't come out in the wash. It just just balled up in the bottom of the pocket and doesn't really get clean.

Once you start using and washing the inserts the sticky feeling of the microfiber will go away.

Occasionally they'll come out, but like the PP I usually find them balled up in the bottom of the pocket diaper and still slightly damp when I pull the diapers out of the dryer. Then I end up pulling it out and tossing both the insert and the diaper right back into the diaper pail.

I don't like my microfiber inserts either, can't stand the way they feel. I usually use hemp or cotton inserts instead.

Yeah - ours don't come out either, except for the styles that open at either end. The mf inserts do get less strange feeling over time.
