Need waterproof label help

I need to have waterproof labels printed. I've already designed them but somehow I think I'm not communicating to the local printers what I need. These will be for herbal tinctures and homeopathic remedies so they need to be waterproof enough to stay on the bottle and the ink not run when inevitable spills happen but they don't need to be bomb-proof like a bumper sticker. Any suggestions?

Try to explain it to them exactly like you did below. Maybe you need to look up not local but other companies online, they would send you samples before you commit.

I have a great graphical designer here in South Florida, he takes care of everything from design, sampling and actual printing (he is partner with a printer)

Another idea is too look at a similar product, maybe, in a small corner it says the name of the printer and you can get the info that way...
