So my DH & I are a little nervous about letting our 6 year old daughter put these on her skin. I looked up ethyl cellulse (which is exactly how it is spelled on the back) to see what I could find out. And so far this is what I found.
From Wikipedia
Ethyl cellulose is an derivative of cellulose in which some of the hydroxyl groups on the repeating glucose units are converted into ethyl ether groups. The number of ethyl groups can vary depending on the manufacture.
It is mainly used as a thin-film coating material.[1]
Ethyl cellulose is used as a food additive as an emulsifiera.
I also found is a bunch of temporary tattoo websites that just list it as an ingredient.
So I ask...what do you think about stick on tattoos? Do you let your kids put them on? How do you know they are safe?
Thanks!
