Toddler Stocking Cap

Thread Starter
I'm knitting one sort of from a pattern, but I've added to it. I want the tail to be really long. It's for a 6-12 month size--how long do you think it should be?
(I don't have a baby that size available to try it on)

Off the top of my head, somewhere between 18 and 24" (from the ribbing) should take it down to neck height, so it depends on just how long you actually want it. 34" should take it down to the waist, maybe beyond, depending on the thickness of your yarn and the size of the child.
