Kenmore Oasis and Diapers

I just got the Kenmore Oasis HE TL 2 weeks ago. I've made several loads of diapers, but don't think I got it right.

I use Country Save powder detergent. Less than what they recommend for FL, because it suds big time when I put that much.

1. I do express wash on cold, no soap. My rinse option won't add water and rinse/drain dry diapers.

2. I do a hot/ white wash with a second rinse = 79 minutes. When I add the soak it will be 93 minutes.

The diapers come out with a slight smell, not bad, but not no smell.

It uses very little water. It just covers the diapers. My regular clothing is definitely coming out cleaner than my previous machine. (a Whirpool estate, only 5 yrs. old.)

What should I be doing differently?
Thanks, Ana

I have an Oasis but it's not HE. I do the same cycles as you do but I use regular Tide and I set the water level to large. If you leave it on auto there won't be enough water to get the dipes clean. Mine come out clean enough for me, no poop or ammonia smell and just a tiny hint of detergent smell.

I can't adjust the water levels - since it's an HE machine.

Thanks again, Ana

Since it won't rinse and then drain the diapers, is there an option on your machine to do a very short wash cycle. My bosch has a 20 minute wash cycle that I use if I need to do a rinse.

My machine will rinse. The problem is a slight smell that is left. I do the express wash - 33 minutes. The the regular wash and rinse.

Thanks again everyone.
