Water broke this morning and contractions few and far between.

So i woke up at 7:20 this morning and my water broke. I started with contractions an hour later and they were getting closer, but at about 12 they died down and I have had 3 since then. Waiting for my midwife to get here at 4 to try and get things going again. I've already taken a walk and cleaned the house. Any ideas to get this labor going?

Nipple stim! You can either do it manually or with a breast pump. You can also try a hot pack on your breast. Good luck!

I second the PP, and I just talked with a friend who had the same situation (water broke and needed to encourage things along).
She did nipple stim, sex with DH with orgasm, accupressure at the inside of the ankle, and made sure to eat, stay hydrated.
