Loose weave wool sweater, need ideas

Yesterday I was on a roll making wool soakers (I made 3 really cute soakers from a $1.59 sweater for my super chunk 3 month old girl), and I bought another wool sweater from Goodwill. Looking it over today I realized the weave is probably too loose to make a soaker (I can see my fingers clearly through it). Any other ideas how to use this?

Try felting it if the knit is that loose, and make a pair of pants out of it
