Favorite AIO

What is your ultimate favorite AIO and why?
I somehow lost all my large and medium dipes and will have to buy a new stash. I love to try new dipes so I want to know what everyone loves/covets.

I love Dream Eze AIO's as well as Bum Genius organic OS AIO (w/snaps).

Both are trim, dry quickly, have natural materials that touches my baby's bum and are very absorbent. Best of all, no stuffing required -- that's my biggest issue w/pockets.

bottombumpers--love, love, love natural inners, quick dry, super trim, great absorbancy, fit a long time (my dd wore mediums from 6 months to potty training, and they are still in great shape)

Honestly? Bumkins. I like that they have the airflow panel that you can stuff a doubler underneath, so it's almost like a pocket diaper but with all-natural material. And I like that they're as easy to use as disposables. And I like that you can get them used, cheap. But I only ever use AIO's for daycare so I can't speak to how well they hold up for hard use.

I like both of these as well. Thirsties and the Bum Genius 3.0 come with stuffable pockets to add absorbency.

Nana's Bottoms are really cute-they are true AIOs, not stuffable AIOs, and the soaker is completely sewn in.

Blue Penguin SposoEasy with Aplix - natural cotton, very absorbent, reasonably priced, Aplix laundry tabs actually work, made in the USA.

bumGenius! organic one-size all-in-one - really absorbent and trim, available in Aplix or snaps, organic cotton jersey - soft as an old t-shirt.

I love the Sposo-Easy. They fit my kids so well, they are all-cotton inside, they washed so well, I love the stretchy tabs, and they are so SOFT. I do wish they had leg casings, though-- it would make it easier to add extra absorbency into them. But I would recommend them to anyone.

Thanks for the replies. I think I might get a few Bumgenius organic AIO's but none of the canadian retailers I have found have the snaps. I would rather have snaps than velcro.

Bumkins. They are trim, dry quickly, all natural next to baby's skin, and relatively inexpensive compared to other brands.

Actually, I think the price of a new Bumkins, retail, is patently ridiculous--you can get a custom-made WAHM diaper with an unbleached snap-in soaker for that price. But Bumkins are readily available used, cheap, and that's important.

Your post prompted me to do a search and yikes! - the price of the Bumkins has about doubled since I bought mine 3-4 years ago.

I had great luck with Motherease AIOs. They arent "cute" (just plain white, kinda boring), but they almost never leaked. Thats important to me because my baby seems to leak in everything else, except Motherease (i also used their bamboo Sandys with the Airflow cover, until he outgrew them...they never ever leaked, soooo absorbant.) The AIOs snap on the sides. If you buy 12 (of any of their dipes) you get a free one.

I got sucked into trying all sorts of other diapers after reading diaperswappers, and was so disappointed because everything leaks for us. Bought some absolutely *beautiful*....just gorgeous.....AIOs from Lucy's Hope Chest. They leaked. I thought Thirsties were pretty, with all those colors, and thought the velcro would be faster/easier than snaps...they leaked (i was SO disappointed)--i heard the newer version without fabric on the gussets might help with that though. I bought these really really cute custom made diapers (Chloe Toes by Katnappies), AIO/pockets...they leak too. *sigh*....since he outgrew everything, and everything else i bought leaked, i went back to disposables for the longest time and am just now back into cloth (due to $$$ reasons)...thinking maybe his Katnappies would fit better and not leak. They are better...but still get really damp on the outside after a short while. I should have just stuck with Motherease!!

: about the Mother-Ease AIO. They do not look "special" but they fit for a long time; my son wore the large until he was about 36 pounds, and my daughter is starting to wear the same ones now at just under 20 pounds. An added bonus is that they can be used as training pants - they can easily be pulled up or down. They are durable and resist stains, too; the ones we have were purchased in the spring of 2007, and they still look new.

Blue Penguin's SposoEasy hands down. They even figured out the Velcro/Applix tab laundering problem... no more sticking around when washing. I prefer velcro for more customize fit with the closure.

It fits my DS well, NEVER had a blow out : (knock on wood), no fuss putting on DS who is always on the run, really absorbent, the medium size should last a very long time even up to when DS is potty trained and reasonably priced. I even sold them out to DH who is now a CD convert

Nice array of colors, even comes in organic cotton if one desires it.

I love Swaddlebees. They are very easy to use and incredibly absorbent.

oh, I forgot about Mother-ease AIO's. I still have 4 of them I need to put back into the rotation. They are definitely good work horse diapers. They last forever and don't leak.

It's just too bad they are so bulky and white

I wanted to dry the BG organic AIO with snaps but can't get them in Canada yet. I emailed cottonbabies and they said they will be distributing them but not for a while. Oh well I might get one of the velcro ones just to see if I like them. I have super soakers for kids and need something that absorbs quick and a lot. I forgot motherease has bamboo now. A store in town will order some in for me.
