just using dawn

is there anything wrong with just using dawn dish soap to clean my diapers? i've been doing it for a month and the diapers seem clean enough and i don't have to worry about build-up...

is there a downfall to this?

There was some talk about the fact that dawn could strip natural oils from your washing machine, but I'm not sure if it's true. You might want to look into it though.
