Want to help me prioritize my book reading?

I've read everything I can get my hands on for fertility, pregnancy, and birth and I'm ready to move on to my vax books now.

We are planning to be a very selective and delayed family, so that is the perspective I'm coming from.

I have:

*Vaccine Safety Manual: For Concerned Families and Health Practitioners -- Neil Miller
*What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Children's Vaccinations -- Stephanie Cave
*Vaccinations: A Thoughtful Parent's Guide -- Aviva Romm
*The Vaccine Book -- Robert Sears
*The Vaccine Guide: Risks and Benefits for Children and Adults -- Randall Neustaedter

What order would you read them in? Which have you read and do you think are the best? Are there any that I didn't list that you consider to be a must have?

FWIW, just as an aside, I also have Vaccines: The Risks, The Benefits, The Choices -- Dr. Tinpenny on DVD.

TIA for any input!

Can I add one to your list? I would highly recommend "How to Raise a Healthy Child... In Spite of Your Doctor". That's a great list of books! As someone that doesn't vax, I would put Dr. Sears' book at the bottom, but that's me

I've only read Dr. Sears' and Dr. Cave's books. I liked Dr. Cave's a little better, but if I had to recommend a book it would be How to Raise a Healthy Child in Spite of your Doctor by Dr. Robert Mendelsohn.

Great minds think alike, haha

--"Just a Little Prick" by Hilary Butler
--the CDC Pink Book

And I'm not a big fan of Stephanie Cave. She's not really as anti-vax as many people think.

I have read all of these but Sear's...IMO Id start with Dr. Tenpenny's DVD and Avviva Romm's book

Then Id move on to Miller's and Neustaedter's

I would skip Sears and Cave's altogether. I found several facts in Cave's that are just not true. Im not a sears fan but if you want to read one of these Id go with Cave's

I second the advice to get Mendelson's book and Hilary Butler's books (there are 2)

I like these the best:

Vaccinations: A Thoughtful Parent's Guide -- Aviva Romm
The Vaccine Guide: Risks and Benefits for Children and Adults -- Randall Neustaedter
Dr. Jay Gordon's vaccination DVD
Sheri Tenpenny's DVD
"How to Raise a Healthy Child...in Spite of Your Doctor" by Dr. Robert Mendelsohn

I have not read Hilary Butler's book yet but it's on my list.

I would also add Dr. Tenpenny's DVD (or book) and How to Raise a Healthy Child...in Spite of Your Doctor.

Not a book, but I'd start here:

Im currently reading Raising a Vaccine Free Child and it is pretty good so far.

I have all your books except Miller. I liked Neustader's best. I liked Tenpenny's least (for reading) but like it for reference.

THANK you all so much for the input!

I've started with Romm. I'm planning to read Neustaedter next, based both on the recommendations here, and that Romm references him quite a few times in her book. I'll save Sears and Cave for last.

I'm planning to watch the Tinpenny DVD this weekend.

And thanks for the links!!

I really appreciate the input. I'm finding the Romm book REALLY good so far.

There is a reason I shouldn't post in a hurry. I meant to say that I do have that book too. I didn't mention it in my list because I didn't think of it as a vax book? I haven't had a chance to read it yet, so maybe it goes more into vaxxing than I thought?

Anyway, I'm looking forward to delving into it too, and even more so after the overwhelming support for it here. Thanks!

Well it doesn't focus on vaxing, this is true. It's just so...important! You'll see! I get so excited when people read it :
