We lost our son in October in the early second trimester and I found so much comfort and support in the birth loss forums. The women there are wonderful. Please check them out when you feel up to it.

There's a quote from Rabbi Yitzchak Ginsburgh that says "Every soul that comes into this world comes here with a very specific mission. When that mission is completed, the soul can leave. The holiest of souls need so little time here in this world that some never even make it outside the womb, others only need their heart to beat once, others not even that."

This quote was one of the few things that brought me comfort last year. I pray that it offers you some small peace as well. No words are adequate, but sometimes some come a little close.
