I thought the sore was an ulcer from a riding accident? I could be wrong though.

I do remember that but why has it not healed?

I just remember Henry having an STD (syphilis?) and I'm wondering if they will work that in.

Oh I'm excited! I'm goning to miss Anne too- I was hoping they would drag out her storyline another season (or two). Season 2 covered quite a few years! I'll have to call to get Showtime sometime this week- I have been waiting forever for season 3 to start!

And what the eff.....Henry has had botox!!! and lost weight. What the hell is going on with him.
JRM's mom died last year and he took it REALLY hard. Might have something to do with the weight loss, botox might have been to tighten his face after losing the weight.

The original actress for Jane didn't want to do the sex scenes. So she asked to be let go.

I thought he had untreated type 2 diabetes and that is why his wounds did not heal well and was caused by obesity. He did run hot and cold so maybe some syphilis.

So Showtime has a youtube channel, and they have Season 3 episode 1 on there. They say it is edited, butttttttttttt it also says it is 53 minutes long, which is how long the episodes are all the time. :

The season 3 finalie was on CBC last night.

Love the show however is is only somewhat historically accurate.

Do you think they'll continue the show when Henry dies? Season 3 finished up with Henry only having a few years to live. Do you think King Edward, Queen Mary, or Queen Elizabeth could carry the show?

I really like this show, although it's too violent for me sometimes. I think I've read that it's planned to have a total of 4 seasons to complete the storyline, I guess that's Henry's story. I like how they make the characters so easy to relate to, though I'm not liking Katherine Howers so much at the moment.

Though they do mess with history a bit, at least it's not like "The other Boleyn girl", that just had me shaking my head. Wikipedia seems to have quite a detailed page on The Tudors:

I think I'll need to get the DVD sets once the show is complete!
