Over Thanksgiving I took some diapers I have already boughten to show my mom & then I showed her some other things I wanted online -
I had been saying wool covers & she was like ????
Then I showed her a picture & she goes ohhh a soaker those are easy!! woohoo!!! Anyways she is going to make me some but what kind of yarn is the "best" to get?

Also for regular fiited diapers what pattern is the best to get??

I don't sew/ knit/ do anything domestic :LOL so I am lost but heck my mom understands!!!

Thanks!

I would say the best is 100% wool yarn You can use acrylic too though, but I think it works best if you use Polar Proof on it.

My absoloute favorite is Lamb's Pride worsted from Brown Sheep. It's a single-ply wool/mohair blend that knits up really smooth & shiny, and it keeps its' shape much better than any other yarn I have used.
Most soaker-makers use Lion Brand Fisherman's Wool, which can be found at most of the bigger Jo Ann stores, and probably other craft stores, too. It works well, and is fun to dye with Kool Aid!
