I'm trying to decide which wrap to put on my baby registry list. As will be a first time mom, I have no idea which is best. I've tried doing some research on Amazon and reading through the other posts on here but I still have some questions. I like the idea of having a tie on wrap - one that the baby will be able to snuggle closely in and is capable of changing into other positions as the baby grows. I'm guessing that once the baby reaches a larger weight - like toddler age, I will switch to using a stroller mostly because I have a bad knee that sometimes acts up and dont' want to carry too much weight all the time. I'm not a fan of the Bjorn or other similar carriers that can hurt the baby's hips.
So my question is which is better? I like the Moby, Sleepy Wrap and Gypsy Mama Bali Breeze out of the many I have looked at online so far. Some seem to swear by the Sleepy over the Moby. My concern with those two is that I live in NM and baby is due in Sept, when it is still quite warm. I don't have a/c - instead just a swamp cooler that doesn't allow for the temp to be adjusted so it frequently ends up being 90 inside. The Gypsy Mama is more lightweight but their site says it is harder to tie on to achieve comfort. What is best for wearing in hot weather, but is still comfortable and not too complicated to tie on?
