Birth announcement

Nathan was born at 11:30 this morning. It was, I guess, pretty typical birth but nothing I would want to face again. I'm done.

He was 22.5 inches long, 11lbs 2oz. Cord was wrapped around his neck, around his body, and he was a little sticky. So, I got to do a midcontraction flip to hands and knees...not fun. Usual bleeding, but the shepherds purse and placenta really has seemed to help.

He's nursing well, sleeping right now, and dh is cleaning up the bedroom.
Kids are excited, and we also got our box of summer crocs, so their day is totally cool, so to speak.
