I've been filled with a need to be creative, lately. I just don't have a lot of talent, supplies, or funds. Then I came across several free and easy tutorials that inspired me --
Goodwill was selling packs of (rather ugly) socks for $2. I used the pair I least liked for my first attempt, since I figured if I screwed up it wouldn't be a big loss. I had to sew everything together by hand, and had a couple of glitches, but overall I'm pleased with the result.

My arms are small enough that I could wear them if I wanted to, and if I fold the cuffs over, my mess-ups aren't as obvious to me.
Hopefully my next attempts will be just as good, if not better.
Now I just need a baby to put them on.
Anybody else have experience with making these?
