favorite crochet longies/shorties/skirties patterns?

ok, so i have crocheted some amigurumi, some granny squares, a few bean bags, a hackey sack, etc. i am going to try my hand at crocheting something for dd2, and i'd like to do some woolies for her to wear.
i bought the ladybugz pattern for the morning glory longies a long time ago, and i am just now reading it. i am SO confused!!!! i know how to crochet in the round, and this is just REALLY confusing!!!!
so, what are YOUR favorite crochet patterns for wooly treats? i want to practice on my stash first before i buy some three irish girls yarn. please include links, pay for patterns are ok, but free patterns are GREAT!

I've never finished a pair, but the Wigglebunz pattern is really cute and has lots of pictures to help you figure out any tricky steps. She also has a yahoo group to help answer any questions. I bought the pattern and started a pair, but realized I prefer to knit rather than crochet after I was about 1/4 of the way done so I never finished them, but was very pleased with the pattern.
