Well my 10 month old has full mastered going up the stairs. Turn your head for 2 seconds and he is darn near up the steps. However he has not learned how to come down. I taught my daughter to slide down on her tummy but I don't remember how I taught her! Sigh
Anyway...I need a gate for the top of my stairs. Only issue is that at the top of the stairs are wrought iron bars on each side. All the gates I see are pressure mounted (which won't work) or attach to drywall...which also won't work.
The people that owned my house b4 me had only a gate for the bottom of the stairs where there is drywall on one side and the iron on the other side. There are brackets on the drywall side and it seems the gate just leaned up on the iron side...well...he has figured out in about 4 hours how to slide that right out the way. Sigh
So...I need help with an inexpensive option to safety guard my stairs. They are beautiful but not quite practical for this.
PLEASE HELP!
