I'm curious to hear how others describe GD to those who are unfamiliar with it. What do you say in a compact, interesting way?

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

We're Christian, and so this usually is good for other Christians: "We try to parent like Christ would- I don't believe he'd ever yell or spank or banish a kid to timeout, so we don't do those things."
With spanking, I usually say, "We don't want our kids to learn that the people they should be able to trust are the same as those who get to hurt them."
I have others I've used, but I can' remember them right now.
