Well, technically it's Friday here, but barely. I have tickets to the midnight showing on Friday morning/Thursday night. Do they not do that in Canada? Most/some theaters here do it. I'm hoping that, since it's a school night, there might be a bit less screaming teens/tweens.

Here's a quote from USA Today that I thought was so awesome! It just made me laugh. I just wanted to share with ya'll. It's about the pros and cons of either being Team Edward or Team Jacob:

"There are pros and cons on both sides. Edward is an immortal who looks like a brooding male model, will never age even though he's over 100 years old, dresses like a rock-star poet and whose skin sparkles in the sun. Drawbacks: A "vegan" vampire who feeds on the blood of animals, he is no fun in restaurants. And he's icy to the touch.

Jacob is a blue-collar high schooler who will stop aging as he continues to shapeshift, has animal magnetism to spare, is half-naked most of the time since his body temperature is 108.9 degrees and is a gifted mechanic. Drawbacks: He has a nasty temper that causes him to change into a raging wolf the size of a horse. And he isn't Edward."

Here's the whole article.

I love the comparison!! A friend of mine and I agree that Edward and Bella belong together but Jacob is just fine for us!! He's more my type anyway!

Okay my friends I'm going to the movie with decided to bring their knitting while we're waiting for the movie to start. So we're already going to be the "old ladies" at the movie and now we're knitting?? LOL! I'm hoping for less teeny boppers since it's a school night too!!

I'm taking my 18 y/o sister (senior in HS) to the midnight show as her birthday present. Okay, so that is my excuse at least. As it sits I am listening the Deathcab for Cutie Meet me on the Equinox and trying not to squeal like a 13 y/o. Oh, and i have spent 1/2 my workday reading fanfiction :

Me too. Well, more like the last whole week! Here's a pretty good one. You might have to register/log in, but it's worth it. Well written and about if Edward didn't come back (or came back a bit later) and Bella chose (even if only temporarily) Jacob. It's kinda steamy, too.

the television specials are so numerous I didn't know what the heck to watch last night! I'm in heaven.

When I think that the premier is so close, I start to feel a little like I felt right before I got my first tattoo-a little lightheaded and very excited!! people may think I am silly for loving this saga so, but I am having so much fun with it

daughter and I are taking along my Edward and Bella fleece throw so we can be cozy at the movie!

can.not.wait.

So what are some good fanfic sites?

Anybody watch the premiere coverage last night?
I didn't watch the coverage but I did stalk a couple websites waiting for the first pics of the trio on the runway. I wanted to see Kristen's dress. She looked great!

Same with me. I saw all the pics and red carpet interviews this morning on different sites. I loved Kristen's dress! I wish Rob would have been a bit more shaved, though. He really is very hairy, I've been noticing more and more. Wow! Just arm hair galore!

I'm also dvr'ing all the talk shows with the three of them on this week. Last night was Taylor on Leno- it was great! He can sure throw a football! Then Kristen was on Conan- her dress was AMAZING! I don't know how they poured her into it! Seriously, I don't know how she was breathing. She was quirky-cute, like always. She touched Conan's hair, which was cute. She also admitted that her dad hates when she never finishes her sentences in interviews. I agree with her dad.

Allyson- the two I've been reading some of are fanfiction.net and twilighted.net

I watched the coverage but I missed ROB Oh, well. I mean I saw him around the red carpet but I missed the interview. Darn. Anyway, I did watch them interview Martin Sheen(sp?), Kristen Stewart, and Tayler L(Sp?) Anyway, I think Kristen was gorgeous...and very sweet.

I also watched Kristen on Conan O'Brian last night. She pretty cool about but also nervous at the same time. She was this dress that was tight as can be and little as could be. I was actually kind of shocked because she is more of a tomboyish kind and she definitely didn't seem overly comfortable or anything.

Tomorrow night is Rob on Letterman

I think I need a 12 step program for fanfic. My current favorites. AU(alternate universe) stories:

PSA: These are all NC-17, so not for kids viewing.

Really beautifully written, canon stories.

Available on www.fanfiction.net

By Lolashoes:
A Life Extraordinary
Let Your Light Shine

I also read a lot of AH(all human) stories...

on www.twilighted.net
The Wingman by Ninapolitan
and Edward Wallbanger by Feathers_mmmm

Who all is going to a midnight showing?

I am not.

I am going to a matinee showing TOMORROW!!!

But I am jealous of those of you who are going tonight.
I'm in lock down mode here... trying to sleep in so I will be totally awake tonight...have the clothing ready to go..daughter and I are geeked at maximum levels!!!

I'm not good at sleeping in...think I'll go get a cup of coffee and watch Twilight. why not.

I thought Kristin was cute on Regis and Kelly..I missed Conan-but saw and loved the dress!

Rob on Letterman was so gorgeous and sweet. I admit, I can't really stand to look at Dave anymore and that's a shame. But Rob is great

all right Twilighters-let's have some fun

In countdown mode here!!!
Susana not only is the clothing ready - I'm already wearing it, and I watch my 8 month old nephew so am often covered in "stuff"! BUT I had to express that it was D-Day somehow, so I'm already prepared to wash and dry the shirt during dinner if necessary.
tinybutterfly --as I was going to bed last night at 11:40 exhausted, I envied everyone like you, who are going to see it soon but not at 12:12am. I know that I'll be excited by also exhausted aarrgghh. Usually in this case I would drink a lot of pop, but what if I have to pee??!!! I'm not leaving that theater to pee - maybe during Twilight (at9) but NO WAY during New Moon(12:12am). I see little opportunities for naps in my future, I guess the story will have to be enough -- heaven knows the books have kept me up past 2am certainly the movie can, right?!?!?!?
