My bff's birthday is Sunday- so I am waiting until then. It's ok because that way I can get matinee prices AND I don't think this pregnant body of mine could deal with staying up too late anyway.

Hi I am very much a Twilight late bloomer. But I'm so happy I've joined the club.

This thread is so long! And I decided to finish reading the series before reading the rest of the thread because of the spoilers. (Don't get me wrong I love the spoilers... but I want to read the books not knowing anything!)

Anyway, this is my point. I requested New Moon from my local library. I check my account online a few times a day to see the status of my request. Last night I saw the book was available for me to pick up. It was 7:30 and the library closes at 8, so I sent my DH to go get it. He had to ask the librarians where the book was being held because it wasn't on the hold shelf. It ended up being in the back room. The librarian gave him sort of a hard time about it because they had just received the book (at 6:15) and hadn't really processed it yet. Then the librarian looked at the cover and was like, "Oh, New Moon. Now I get it." And she gave my DH a little nod and wink.

Yes, Librarian, I am one of those people! She then said something to my DH about how easy it would have been for the book to get "lost" in the back room. And she was surprised I even got it.

I just finished reading it and now I'm waiting for Eclipse.

I'm really dying here while waiting to read the last two because I can't wait to see what everyone has to say about the book and the movie!

tinybutterfly --as I was going to bed last night at 11:40 exhausted, I envied everyone like you, who are going to see it soon but not at 12:12am. I'm going Saturday night - and i can't wait!!

i would LOVE to go tonigh t- but the darn local theather isnt having a midnight showing (how positively EVIL of them!)

I'm leaving my house in an hour to go see new moon! I'm currently watching twilight to get pumped for it (as if that's even necessary) squeeeeeee!

I'm in the theater right now!!!!! We came 2.5 hours early, totally prepared to sit on the floor in a massive line. But lucky us, the theater that is showing the time we chose doesn't have anything playing beforehand so we get to sit in the theater in our seats already!!!! So much more comfy. And we got great seats!!!! And so far all the teens are really quiet. It's unbelievable!!!! Now to sit and wait for two more hours. Ah, I guess I'll read.

The two fanfics that come to mind first are Wide Awake and The Puppet Master. They're almost total opposites, but both so good in their own rights. Lemme see if I can find linkies.
