O immediately after AF?

First and foremost: I don't chart and am not on any hormonal birth control.

Ok, so for the past few months I've been feeling that perhaps I ovulate directly after the end of my period; like within the first day or two after I finish bleeding/spotting. Basically, I'm wondering if anyone else does this/has experience with this.

Honestly, asking because we dtd on the last day of my spotting (3/11) and withdrawal was rather sloppy. Of course, now I'm absolutely paranoid, esp. considering the bloatedness, my suddenly 'being aware' of my breasts, random nausea and twinges in my uterus, all since just a few days after we dtd (but wondering if that's just *too* soon to start feeling anything).

So, anyone else O immediately after their bleeding/spotting ends? Any pregnancies result?

Thanks!

It is very possible to O right after you period especially if you have a shorter cycle. Before I had kids my cycle was only 21 - 25 days long and I'd O literally a day or two after my period stopped. And I did conceive my ds with this type of cycle. If you have a longer cycle it is less likely. I'd wait until your next AF is due and take a test if your concerned. Good luck and hope you get the result you want.

Usually, your AF will come about 2 weeks after you ovulate (11-17 days is considered normal). So, as the PP said, your cycle would probably be on the short end if you were ovulating that early. There are some people who ovulate that early some or all of the time. I know someone who conceived due to relations during the end of AF because she ovulated immediately afterwards.

Thanks! At the very least, I do know that my last cycles was 25 days (first day of Feb's period was 2/9, first day of March's period was 3/6). Unfortunately, other than that I hadn't kept track of my cycles since last September

However, I literally said last month that I believe I O 2 or 3 days after I stop bleeding, judging by pains on my left side, gassiness/bloatedness & cm.

Yikes. This would definitely not be a planned pregnancy.

Thanks for the info!!!

Well, if I did conceive, that would be how! Yikes...we'll see. The next week or so is going to be LONG...

Thanks for the info!

That's how my son was conceived, right at the end of my period. I've just gone off hormonal birth control in the past month and started paying attention and my last cycle was only 19 days long... Having watched that and knowing how my son was conceived, I have a feeling I must ovulate right after AF.
