Kissaluvs question

Thread Starter
So, we have one Kissaluvs fitted diaper right now (we mostly use prefolds) and we love it. My daughter is 3 weeks old and the size 0 fits great. We're snapping it the tightest it can go and she seems very comfortable in it. I would like to get some more for her, but am not sure on the sizing. The size 0 says it fits up to 15 lbs... I'm not sure on the sizing for size 1's I think it's from 12 lbs to something? Should I get some more size 0, would it be worth the money or should I go for the size 1? I'm just not sure how long these fit... anyone with experience?? DD is a long, skinny girl with skinny legs. Would the size 0 fit her for a while longer??

TIA!

if it helps, DD is wearing the 0 still here at 12 weeks.

I bought 1s for my 6 week old and they never fit her right. She was a slender baby (maybe 9 lbs at the time) and they just didn't work. They did fit her later on AS A TODDLER though, they were just low rise. I would stick with the Os for a new babe. Don't go for 1s until your baby grows out of the Os. It might also be good to note that Kissaluvs fit better on average to pudgy babies, and if your baby has a long rise, they won't work at all.

My dd wore 0s until 12 weeks. She wears 1s now and she is 10 months and 18 lbs. Sounds like you could get more 0s.

My dd is still wearing 0s at 13 weeks/12.5lbs. I think they'll still fit for a couple of weeks. She does *also* wear the 1s as of this week. They're a bit big, but they work. We do have to use small covers with the 1s and NB covers with the 0s. There does seem to be a huge jump between the 0s and the 1s.
I'd get more 0s, if I were you.

My DS never fit into 0s--he started wearing 1s at 2 weeks old and grew out of them at 12 weeks (and all other small fitteds, too). He was 18lbs at 3 months, I think. A big guy

1s would still fit my 2.5yo if it wasn't for the rise--he's too tall for them!

I'd buy 1 size 1 and see how it fits, and if it fits ok, just get 1s
