Summer babywearing

Hi there,
I'm due in July with my second babe. I was wondering if anyone had advice on what sling/wrap/carrier might be a good option for me? My son (now 2+) was born in November and I LOVED the Moby and then the Beco as he grew. I just can't see wearing the Moby in the heat of July and Aug. It gets hot here - 30+C. I need something that will keep me and infant cool and yet allow me to chase my 2.5 yr old around. Thoughts?
thanks!

You might like a Gypsy Mama Bali Breeze wrap. I have one that is super thin and lets the air circulate. It's gauze, so not stretchy like a Moby but not as thick or stiff as a woven wrap.

A few ideas:
-tencel or linen fabric for a sling will be very cool and breathable. sleepingbaby.net makes these for a reasonable price. I have a tencel one that I LOVE!
-solarveil is popular for summer since it has little holes and can breath. It can be scratchy at first but washing it a few times will soften it up. This fabric is made in mei tais, slings and pouches. The fabric is not made anymore but there are lots of carriers still available new and on the used market.
-as mentioned above-gauze wraps are cool but you're still going to have fabric wrapped around your body at least once so it will still be warm.
-mei tais are fairly cool because the sides are open to breath and there is not a lot of fabric covering your back.
-sateen pouches are cool too since they are smooth/cool to the touch thin cotton material. I loved my slinglings.com sateen pouch in the summer.

I wore my Moby in the summer and it didn't bother me *shrug*

That aside, there's tons of lightweight slings out there. Look for something with linen or lightweight cotton.

I have always used a cotton pouch (like a New Native) in the summer without overheating. I think the shirt I had on underneath made much more of a difference in my heat level than the babywearing.

I've seen lots of solarveil Zolos floating around.
