Vegans TTC ~ Spring/Summer - Page 36

Hello everyone! I was on vacation visiting family and friends for a week, so I missed a lot!
First, congrats to veganmama! Declan is one of my very favorite names!
DH and I aren't really trying yet, but I can't help but keep track of my cycle in my head. I just can't shut that part of my brain off! I'm on CD 21, impatiently waiting for the day that DH and I can start trying again!

Hi there. My weekend update was that we were expecting O and BD'd as planned.
This morning I found out that a co-worker of mine was in a car accident Friday night and his wife died. They have a three year old son. My heart is just broken thinking about it.

Sorry I know it is OT but it is weighing on me.

Hesperia, I thought Sweden was less impressive than Nova Scotia nature-wise (we expected more drama ) but I enjoyed the independent culture in Stockholm's Södermalm area and the rocks on the archipelago coast were pretty awesome, too. plus oatmilk yogurt!

Got any pictures of scenery? DH and I have never been to Europe before and love looking at people's travel pictures and watching travel dvds... We'll get there someday

I'll see if I can upload some to flickr. probably not today though, I procrastinated too much yesterday

on topic: hope everybody is feeling fertile today. I know I'm not. but then, it#s only day 10...

I think I'm fertile? My CM has been totally different this past week...due to the HSG (I think) and I'm either still spotting or leaking dye from the HSG so I think this cycle is going to end up as a take-it-easy and just finish tests/not really TTC cycle. A nice low-stress cycle

Hello everyone! It has been very quiet on this list...
It's Friday!!!

Friday Check in.. CD 6 today... And day 2 without coffee!!
Got the second SA results yesterday(from my BIL, our donor), nearly as dismal as the first. So-- DH is really sad, he felt really good about using his brother as a donor. So the news that we are back to the sperm bank is hard for him. I'm taking it a little better, and think we have our new donor picked out. Now I'm just trying not to stress about the timing.

Hesperia the lemon cukes are growing like a weed! They are these small yellow cucumbers with thin skin- they look just like lemons-- super cute. And re: missing the cup?! Well, I think the issue is that he's such a big guy.. seriously obese, and honestly it may just be, well, hard to see what he's doing??? This time he had to use a special condom to get the sample in. Hope you're still sleeping well.

Well, now I feel like a total jerk. I'm sorry. Head/Desk. :
I was picturing some hunky jock having a wee bit too much fun....

Do you happen to blog? I'd love to follow your story in more detail. How do you go about choosing a donor? The timing sounds difficult, hope it isn't stressing you out too much.

How is the no caffeine going? I've done it a few times, and it isn't pretty. Hope your headaches aren't too bad. I remember I felt like I had the flu, which was pretty freaky to me. But, I'm back to drinking coffee, so I couldn't have been that bothered by it.

Those cukes sounds amazing. We need more dancing vegetable here at MDC! :

Hello everyone! Hope you've all had a lovely week! The weekend is almost here :

In fertility land, it is almost mid month, so my DH and I have been doing the baby making dance with intent. I haven't signed into fertility friend since I dropped in to date the start of my cycle (August 1st). I think I'm off to join the no-testers/no-stresser today, because at this point last month, I was excited but also a little tightly wound.
I've told my DH, that it is the no pressure month of trying to a bub. We'll do it when we are awake and want to. He tried the other night, but I was too asleep (he worked until 11pm), and we were both easy with that too. He seems to be enjoying this new mind set I've found, and he more into the baby making and wants to have more sex. So, bonus! I knew I was going a bit crazy in the head...

In other news, we are packing to move, and hoping for many new begins in our lives soon. He is looking for some new employment, no rush, but he isn't feeling as passionate about coffee making as he used to. It has been 10 years, he has competed in competitions, watched, judged, worked in a magnitude of stores and cities. Raised to the top quickly, but still not shown respect....he got a call back from the city about being a Theater person. Not sure the term. Working in the old play houses. Which seems like a perfect mix for him. Something professional, but surrounded in art and history, and perhaps ghosts! Anyways, it isn't set yet. Just feeling it out. He's applied for some internships too.

Hope everyone is well, and enjoying their summers!!

Hesperia-- No!!! Don't feel bad, I loved that you said that... Seriously, i just, well, I'm so glad there is a girl up in Vancouver laughing with me about donor boy missing the cup. I mean really, you'd think he could go by feel???

I don't blog, and have never thought about it... Hmmm--it sounds kind of fun actually...

I'm at work, so I should probably start working again. But I will tell you how we choose donors later, cause its a kind of bizarrely fun process for me.
