Will the Mei Tai fit a plus sized woman?

will the Mei Tai a plus sized woman without getting it custom made?

yup, but you may want to get one w/ extra long straps. Baby Hawk has that option.

I ordered mine from nurturedlittleone(s).com They had the longer strap option.

most mei tai's will fit just fine. would recommend the Kozy, and get the XL strap option - that gives a little extra strap length in the waist and the shoulder straps, and gives you more flexibility in tying. i know Babyhawk also offers XL straps, those i believe those are just in the shoulder straps not the waist.
i think there's a small additional fee but it's not huge, and pretty much all the carriers from both of those companies are made to order, so in a sense they're all 'custom' in that you choose the fabrics you want and the strap length and color and they make it to order.

I got my Mei Tai today and love it and it fits well

Just for future reference, you can get Babyhawks with XL top straps or bottom straps or both. With Kozy, you can only do regular straps for both or XL straps for both. Which is too bad, because I find many people, even those on the larger side, don't need XL bottom straps even when they need XL top straps.
