Crystal Testers!

Can we share all things crystal testing related with eachother?

Thanks to my mom I have lovely rose quartz pendulum that has become my new tool.

When my 10.5 month is sleeping I typically get the food/supplement, have it touch his skin somewhere and ask the question.

Actually before I start, I ask it to show me a yes and no. Then I ask it if DS is healing (response has always been yes)

Then I test the items. I ask "will _______ hurt DS's healing?"
sometimes I ask it a few different ways to be sure.

Sometimes i test things again, just to be sure, and sometimes I get a different answer (not always the answer I want either)

How do you guys word your questions?

we're off to baby yoga now, but I think I had more to add.....

I haven't found the pendulum to be accurate, but we're doing muscle testing (hold the food item with both hands at the level of the solar plexus, feet together, eyes closed, and ask the question - back is no and forward is yes). The question that we ask is "Will I react badly if I eat this food?" That's DS who's is 8yo so he can do it himself. The pendulum I got last year was rose quartz and my kids broke it within 2 weeks. When I went back to the store last month I got a metal one (so they can't break it). I haven't tried it with the new one yet.

I have a special necklace that DH gave me for our 10 year anniversary. We use that.
If I am feeling a lack of focus I start off with "With the power of my mama love and knowledge, I ask my higher self. . . ." This helps me really hone in on what I am doing, it also reminds me that that my love and knowledge can heal.

I usually don't have my boys touch the food, although I touch it if it is for myself. I just think of the individual child and hold the necklace over the food.

I have found that questions can be tricky, and became trickier when I had knowledge about detox pathways.
Before I became involved with detox pathways, some items were always not healthy/safe, or yes an allergy, then sometimes they were ok. It turns out that once I had knowledge about the pathways it was discriminating between detox pathway issues or allergy issues. Example: Natural Calm which had been a no, turned into a problem for detox issues, but not a problem for allergy issues. As we have had some small successes with the detoxing, I have been able to add natural calm to our supplments, but not all the time.

This is fascinating me, and I am loving the strength and power I feel when I do it. I don't feel like I am fumbling as much.

It has been really helpful for homeopathic remedies.

Maybe I'll try it again with the new pendulum when DS gets home today.

One thing I found interesting too is that I asked the crystal to show me the area that needs healing.
I held over each area of his body and it swung a big wide no until it hit his stomach/intestine area and it instantly changed to a big wide yes before I could even blink.

The detox pathway stuff is still really over my head right now so I think I will just ask the question like I have since it's still specific enough for the purpose right now.

I tried muscle testing myself like you do Kathy, but I couldn't get clear yes or no's - I just kept falling sideways for everything. My ND and holistic allergist still use muscle testing for us though.

Yes is back and forth and no is a circle, right? Or is it individual and you ask questions that you know the answer to to determine what's what?

Mine happened to be on the nightstand last night (one of the kids must have taken it out) so I asked it if the sky is blue and it went back and forth, so I assumed that was yes. I asked if the sky was green and it did the little circle. Then I asked if my rash was an allergic reaction to the Cipro and it said NO! But then I don't know what it's from. I couldn't think of a follow-up question.

Kathy,
I asked the pendulum what a yes looked like and then what a no looked like. I don't know if it is an individual answer or a universal response. Here yes is circle and no is back and forth.

My crystals are "trained" to swing in line with my arm for yes, and across my wrist for no. When I get circle answers, I "expect" a clear swinging in a line response... I don't like circle answers myself, but I suppose its more natural than line answers? Our new IM doc was surprised to see mine swing in a line anyway...

I find that the number of ways to ask a question are nearly endless.

Will x make me sick?
Is x safe for me?
Should I eat x today?
Can I have x?
Should I stay away from x?
Is x good for me?
If I eat x, will it make the baby sick?
Is the rash from x?
Is x detrimental to our healing?
Should I take a single dose?
Should I take a double dose?
Is this a rxn?
Is this an illness?
Should we see this doctor?
Will homeopathy help this aspect?
etc...

I used it tonight after DH left for work (it was in my bedroom). I asked for yes and no. Yes is definitely forward and back and no is a circle. Weird that they'd be opposites for me, though not odd if you know me. So I asked if my rash was from the Cipro. It said yes. I said should I go to the doctor for it. It said no. I asked if I was allergic to the Septra and it said no (and the doctor finally called today with urine culture results and I am on the right med). So I'm leaving it out so I can do some more with it tomorrow.

What do you use for crystal testing. Where would I find a crystal?
I was just coming here to ask what a circle means!!

At the beginning, I asked the crystal to show me a yes and a no, and I just assumed (because I read mtn.mama's experience) that yes was a line swinging in line with my wrist, and a no was a line swinging perpendicular to my wrist.

So then sometimes I would get a small circle and be confused, and I took that to mean, not enough information yet, or maybe, neutral, etc.

Do you ask what means yes and no every time?

I asked a question the other day and I got an immediate, wide swinging circle, like it was clearly saying something, but I wasn't sure what it meant. Sometimes, I get an immediate, clear answer and other times, it takes a while to start moving, and it looks like it's kind of uncertain.

So, I wonder what a circle means for me? Because every time I have asked it, yes and no are clearly the lines like mtn.mama described.

I was under the impression that you could use most anything, like buy a crystal at a store, or use a ring, etc. I use a crystal-type rock I found in my son's collection of special things that he's picked up around, and tied a string to it.

What do others use?

I bought my first rose quartz one (that my kids broke in the next week) and my newer metal one both in the same store, a sort of mystic shop (tarot card readings and such). But I'm sure you can use anything.

I've been asking the show me yes, show me no at the beginning of each session, just to be assured.

I have a rose quartz pendulum as well.

For me, I ask it to show me a yes and no each time as well. So far yes is always a counterclockwise circle and no is a line across my wrist.

Sometimes it will swing wildly for an answer as well, and when it is unsure it will literally stay still.

I'm always amazed when I see it hit DS's energy field. I can be jiggling my hand and it can be all wiggly, but as soon as I lower it to the right spot it gets very steady and I can feel the energy - very cool!

This might be a silly question, but what do you guys use to suspend the crystal from? My strong is a little stiff, and I was wondering if that would affect it.

Mine came on a chain.

Mine is on a little chain too.
I'm sure you could use a necklace chain if you have one.

is it weird that i didnt have a string , so i just tied a hair to a ring my mom gave me? i thought maybe it would be more connected to me somehow.
its odd though, i've had success with the "nos" from the crystal testing being accurate, but a couple "yeses" have been bad for me. i need to keep working on it.

Here's what has been happening to me of late...

I ask the crystal a question and close my eyes and it says yes (DH tells me later), as soon as I open my eyes = no. Same for him too. Weird, huh?
