I am now just over 13 months PP with DS1 and there is narry a whiff of AF. Which is ok by me - other than my increasing desire to start TTC.

I am not in a rush yet - only thinking of getting serious about TTC in summer - but I was wondering how long other mama's have waited for their PPAF.

I am 31 and nursing my 13 month old - about 2-3 times a night and breaks of no longer than about 3-4 hours through the day. He slept 7 hours once - but that was months ago.

It varies so much! For me - I have an avid nurser - I didn't get AF back for 2.5 years! I wanted to try to conceive again - and it did seem like my body was trying (lots of hormonal symptoms) so went to an acupuncturist. My period came back after a few treatments. I have another good friend who's tandem nursing and got her AF back after 6 weeks...
