I live in Northern Wisconsin and my husband and I are thinking about relocating to Vermont. My husband went to Sterling College and loved it there. The economy here is terrible, so the main concern with moving is whether I will be able to find a job. I am an RN with only 3 years of experience. My husband owns a music store, but does most of his business online, so he could live anywhere. He is also a musician, and I'm wondering if there is a live music scene in Burlington. We have a 2 1/2 year old, so I'm also wondering about good daycare/preschool. I saw on the Burlington Chamber of Commerce website that they're trying to start a children's museum. Any news about that? I am a breastfeeding, non-vaccinating, liberal mom, but still like a good mall with a department store with a make-up counter and shoe department! Any good shopping nearby or do you have to go to Boston?
