yay for our non-vax ped!

I just brought R in for his two month well check up today and was very pleased with the pedatrician.

Background: I started seeing this woman in our three woman practice after G was about 10 months old. I did most of G's vaxes (against my better judgment) until he was six months old. I knew she was pretty lax on the vaxes, but wasn't sure if she was okay just because of G's history with severe allergies (all the pediatrician's there, even the more pro-vax ones, are reluctant to give him anything since he's so sensitive).

Today we went through the whole visit without a mention of vaxes. I had totally forgotten about them actually. As I was dressing R to go home she popped her head in and said "you're planning to wait on vaccines, right? ... I mean, I just assumed, but perhaps I'm wrong?". I stuttered a bit and said "well, I vaxed G, but I'm reluctant to vax".... All she said was "I don't blame you" (in a way that made me feel like she was saying "You're making the right choice!!").

Yay!
