thank you guys for your help, I just talked with cps, and my lawyer on the phone, I will be meeting with both tomorrow.

What a rotten situation.

I would call CPS. Explain the situation. Explain that you have drs. notes on file to back up your instructions. Explain what it is. I doubt they will do anything, but it will be a record of you reporting it.

Call your lawyer as well. I would be concerned that pulling visits would put you in contempt- ask your lawyer about that.

Good luck!

It sounds to me like a legal issue and I would definetly contact a lawyer as well as CPS. I have no knowledge in this area, but it sounds like he could be abusive. My guess is doing this caused pain and the father just bullied the child into doing it anyway. He is causing real harm.

Best wishes

Yah this is my thinking....I work with CPS so I will talk to the worker tonight at work, and see my lawyer tomorrow...I guess I am second guessing myself...perhaps thinking I am seeing this from too close, and needing an outside source to also say this is wrong...I don't want to sever his relationship with his father...but I need to protect my son, so either way it sucks...

You got it, you know what to do. Keep your son away from him, talk to someone at CPS, get a lawyer, and consider pressing charges.

At age 7, your son should be able to bathe himself without any help from Dad (unless your son has any special needs.) I can understand the miscommunication about intact penis care when your son was a toddler-but really, he's old enough now that Dad should NOT be handling his penis at all! This aspect concerns me a lot more than the specifics of intact care-and I suspect that CPS may see it the same way.

Since you have an attorney, I'd contact him or her for specific advice on how to proceed. I wouldn't contact CPS or stop visits until after your meeting with the lawyer tomorrow. If you didn't have a lawyer, I'd lean towards calling CPS as a first resort.

I would stop all contact, contact your lawyer, call CPS and the police.
This is abuse, and sexual abuse at that.

I see it the same way, thanks guys. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't seeing it wrong.

I didn't see your original post but I hope you can get this resolved. It sounds like a very stressful situation.

I didn't either but I hope everything gets worked out and your son stays safe.
