i just need something simple and affordable. i would eventually like to design my own logo, but for now i'm satisfied just using a template. i know a lot of people use vistaprint, but they kind of seem like "the man" , and i've heard some negative things about them as well. who or what program do you use to print your cards? thanks mamas!

I needed mine fairly quickly so I just went to Office Max. They ended up being a fairly good deal.

I get mine (as well as other marketing materials like postcards and brochures) from GotPrint.

I usually use VistaPrint, and click through MyPoints. When I use them with a clickthru, they always end up being cheaper, even with shipping. (I pay extra so that their logo isn't on my cards.)

Be wary of Vista Print!

I don't know for sure that they sold me out to Passport to Fun, but it seems like google searching links the two companies and I found a monthly $20 passport to fun charge on my cc statement at the same time I started using vista. All I can say is free isn't always free. After 3 years of them charging me without my knowledge, those free cards cost me $650! (DH did the finances...thought it was something I wanted) :

I have used Spinnprint.com and found their prices great for color copies, also any local color copy place works well. I have photos on my cards so accuracy is important and have never been let down. The trick is to bring in the file on disk and print for the file.

I lay my cards out in photoshop (at the biz card size) then drag and drop them onto a letter sized sheet in photoshop until its full. Save the file and I am good to go!

I just used www.bayphoto.com for new cards and have to say I LOOOVE them. Not sure if anybody could order or just photographers, but I am wowed. They also have a half off your first order special when you use their ordering system. But for $11 for 40 double sided full color cards, how can you go wrong?

Though, I am talking fancy biz cards, not just your name and a logo.
